Pickup from Calicut Railway Station / Airport. Drive to Kakkadampoyil-The Ooty of Malabar and have a visit to Kozhippara Waterfalls– an ideal location for trekking, rock climbing and swimming. It is one of the best waterfalls, which offer plenty of opportunities to adventure enthusiast. After that visit the Teak Museum about 4 km from the town of Nilambur. It is popular for being the world’s first teak museum and sub center of Kerala Forest Research Institute. Have the lunch and move to Pazhassi Cave-4 kms of Kakkadampoyil-located inside the forest and one can have reach there by 2km of walk from Nayadam poyil village. It is said that the emperor Pazhassi used it to hide from Britishers. Valamthode Waterfalls– situated about 27 km from Nilambur ahead of the river Chaliyar- a sight of beauty and freshness, located amid the tribal settlement. This waterfall is an attraction mainly for domestic tourists.

After having breakfast proceed to Wayanad. After having lunch proceed to Thusharagiri Waterfalls-a collection of 3 waterfalls-widely known as “trekkers paradise”. It also offers activities like rock climbing. After visiting the waterfalls if still time permits move to Lakkidi View Point-just 5kms within the Lakkidi Town. One can have a view of the zig-zag roads from the height.
Back to the hotel / resort and take rest.
Overnight stay at Wayanad.
After breakfast visit Edakkal caves– An interesting trek up the Ambukuthi Hill near Ambalavayal town. It is famous for its pictorial paintings done in the caves-takes you to the fascinating neolithic cave site of Edakkal. Etchings found on the walls of these caves have drawn the serious attention of archaeologists and historians worldwide. After Edakkal proceed to Heritage museum situated in Ambalavayal- one of the largest and best archaeological museums in Kerala. There you can explore the entire Wayanad history. Afternoon have your lunch and visit Soochippara waterfalls, a three-tiered waterfall in Vellarimala, Wayanad, surrounded by Deciduous, Evergreen and Montane forests, where you can take bath too. To reach the waterfalls people have to walk a natural rocky trek path which is a thrilling experience.

After breakfast move to Ooty. After reaching, visit Ooty Lake, approximately 2 kms from Ooty-a popular destination for picnicking, paddle boating and enjoying Ooty leisurely. Its scenic beauty is really mesmirizing. The Lake is surrounded by Eucalyptus trees and greenery all around. Next we will visit Rose Garden-near Vijayanagaram with around 3600 varieties of roses. It is the largest rose garden in India.This garden was recognized as the ‘Garden of Excellence’ by the World Federation of Rose Societies (WFRS). Next to that we have Botanical Garden– visit the magical place. A pleasant green space away from the craziness of city. It’s just like a park with full of greenery around you- do nothing just admire the beauty. Have your lunch and visit to Doddabetta Peak- it’s literally a big mountain-4 th highest peak in South India-wonderful trekking point. Reaching at the top means a visual treat of the surrounding beauty of Nilgiri.
